I attended Carnegie Mellon for undergraduate studies in 2001, and made the transition to graduate work here in 2005. I am originally from Palo Alto, California.
I am currently working with Dr. Robert F. Davis on the fabrication and characterization of gallium nitride high electron mobility transistors, and with Dr. Lisa Porter on stable contacts to AlGaN. My interests lie in the behavior of such transistors at high temperatures and volatile (hydrocarbon rich) environments. The hope is to provide detailed information on the ability to sense hydrocarbons (C1-C8) using the HEMT.
