I
have a bachelors' degree (B. Engg) in Polymer Engineering (1999)
from Maharastra Institute of Technology, India. Following my
undergraduate education, I worked with Cosmo Films Limited as
a Junior Scientist in the area of polymeric films for one year.
In fall 2000 I joined the Materials Science graduate program
at Rochester Institute of Technology and received a M.S. degree
in 2002. I joined General Electric Global Research (NY, USA)
as a Polymer Engineer in Jan 2003. After working there for a
year I came to the MSE department at CMU. I am a graduate student
here and my advisor is Prof. Lisa M. Porter. My thesis involves
the study of contacts (both ohmic and Schottky) to diamond and
nanostructured carbon films.
